How to change between the Flex, Solo and Group plans

WriteUpp offers three plan types - Flex, Solo and Group. Read more about what each plan offers here.

Before you start

To access all available plans, your subscription must be on Stripe Billing.

If you’re currently paying via GoCardless or PayPal, you’ll first need to switch to Stripe Billing first. If you haven’t done this yet, you won’t see the option to change plans.

Choosing the right plan:

Take a moment to decide which plan best suits your practice.

  • The Solo and Group plans include Online Booking and a monthly allowance of SMS credits, which can make them more cost-effective if you regularly use these features.
  • The Group plan includes unlimited free non-clinical users, and the Solo plan includes one free non-clinical user, also helping you save if you have admin staff requiring access to WriteUpp (read more about managing user types here).

How to switch plans

  1. As a Site Administrator, go to Settings -> Account.

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click 'Change Your Plan'.

If you don’t see this option, you’ll need to switch to Stripe Billing first.

  1. A modal will appear showing the three plan options - Flex, Solo, and Group:

Each plan comes with its own licence requirements and limits. Select the plan that aligns with the number of clinicians and structure of your practice.

You can read more about plan limits and features here.

  1. Select your preferred plan:

  • For Flex and Group, choose the number of licences you require.
  • For Flex, you’ll also have the option to include Online Booking.

  1. Click 'Update Plan'.

That’s it! Your plan will be updated automatically - you don’t need to re-enter your payment details.

Warning: when you switch plans, the included SMS credits associated with your new plan (Group/Solo) will not take effect until the next payment cycle.

Next steps

Once your plan has changed, you can invite users and/or adjust your user's types as needed.
