Is WriteUpp HIPAA compliant?
HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996) is US-specific legislation (i.e. it does not relate to organisations operating in EU member states) that provides data privacy and security provisions for safeguarding medical information.
WriteUpp is NOT HIPAA compliant as we have no plans to market, promote or support WriteUpp in the US. Instead we have focused our efforts on the UK, Europe, Middle East, Far East and Australasia.
