Creating and linking WriteUpp clients to Wibbi
There are two ways you can link your clients in WriteUpp to Wibbi. You can either create them as a new client in Wibbi from WriteUpp, or you can link an existing client in Wibbi to one in WriteUpp. This article will walk you through it!
You must first have informed Wibbi that you wish to integrate with WriteUpp and have connected your account and users to Wibbi. You can read about how to do that here.
Once a user in WriteUpp is set up in Wibbi, they can start linking WriteUpp clients to Wibbi.
How to create a new client in Wibbi from WriteUpp:
If the client does not already exist in Wibbi, then you can create a record of them from within WriteUpp and this will also link them to Wibbi. To do this…
- In WriteUpp, select the client you wish to create in Wibbi. Click the arrow icon in the Active Patient button to open the dropdown menu and select Open in Wibbi:
- This will open the ‘Wibbi clients’ modal. If you have linked multiple Wibbi clinics to WriteUpp, then you will be asked to select which clinic you would like to create the patient in. If you only have one Wibbi clinic linked, then you will not see this step.
- A list of all Wibbi clients not linked to WriteUpp will be shown. If the patient does not already exist in Wibbi, then click the Create Wibbi Client button at the top:
- Click Yes to confirm:
- You will then be directed to your Wibbi site, where the name, email and mobile number will be populated from WriteUpp for a new client in Wibbi. Once you are happy with all the client details in Wibbi, click Save:
- The client will now be created in Wibbi and linked to WriteUpp. If you have multiple Wibbi clinics linked to WriteUpp, then the client will be added to the one you selected in step 2.
- You can now start syncing programs from Wibbi straight to the Files tab of the client record! Read all about that here.
How to link to an existing client in Wibbi:
If the client already exists in Wibbi, then you can link them to the corresponding client in WriteUpp. To do this…
- In WriteUpp, select the client you wish to link to Wibbi. Click the arrow icon in the Active Patient button to open the dropdown menu and select Open in Wibbi:
- This will open the ‘Wibbi clients’ modal. If you have linked multiple Wibbi clinics to WriteUpp, then you will be asked to select which clinic the existing Wibbi client belongs to. If you only have one Wibbi clinic linked, then you will not see this step.
- A list of all Wibbi clients not linked to WriteUpp will be shown, regardless of which clinic you selected in the previous step (if you have multiple clinics linked). Clients from Wibbi are ordered alphabetically by surname. Scroll through and find the client you wish to link:
- Click on the client and select Yes to confirm. Before clicking Yes, be absolutely sure you selected the correct clinic for the client in step 2 (if you have multiple clinics linked):
- You will be directed to your Wibbi site and the client record you just selected will open. Make any necessary edits and click Save. The client in WriteUp will now be linked to the selected client in Wibbi:
- You can now head to the Files tab of the Client Summary in WriteUpp and start syncing programs straight from Wibbi -> learn more here.
Removing the Wibbi link from a WriteUpp client:
It is really easy to remove a Wibbi link from a client record. Here's how:
- In Writeupp, head to the Patient tab of the Patient Summary of the client you wish to remove the Wibbi link from
- Click Edit details:
