How do I add Location details to Online Booking 2.0 (Single location site)

If you do not have multiple locations enabled in your WriteUpp site, then this article will explain how to add address details for your single practice to your Online Booking website.

Not made the switch from classic Online Booking to the new and improved version? The process is simple -> Switching from Classic Online Booking to Online Booking 2.0.

If you are unsure about what your location settings are, then head to Main Menu -> Settings -> Organisation, and you will see the ‘Enable Multiple Locations’ checkbox. If it is unticked, then you have a single location WriteUpp site:



If you do have multiple locations enabled, then you should read this article about setting up locations in Online Booking.

Important: Only Site Administrators have access to the Organisation tab under Settings. If you have any other user role, then please speak to the Site Administrator about managing locations in Online Booking.

To add address details to Online Booking (single location site):


In your WriteUpp site, go to Main Menu -> Settings -> Organisation and open the ‘Online Booking’ section:



If you don’t see this option, add Online Booking to your subscription to get started today!

The ‘Available for Online Booking’ switch will be turned on. If you have a single location site, then you cannot turn this switch off, as it must be on to show availability in Online Booking.



Complete the 'Display Name', 'Address' and 'Postcode' fields for your practice (these are mandatory).

You can also enter some specific direction details into the 'Directions' box, if needed.

Click Save

Head to your Online Booking website and check that you are happy with how the location details look there. For a single location site, you will have to click the ‘More info’ link in the Appointment Summary to view the details of the location:

For a single location WriteUpp site, availability for users in Online Booking will be based on their working hours, defined under 'User Settings'. You can read about setting up availability that way, here.
