How do I set up email notifications of an online booking?

When a client books online, you can set up email notifications to go to both the user who the appointment has been booked with, and selected others who might need to know about it.

To set up email notifications of an online booking:

Log into the Online Booking Admin Area

Click on settings in the top menu or manage settings via the quick navigation panel:



Under the Main Info tab, scroll down to Notification Settings where you'll see two options:



Sliding "Notify the booked user" to the right will send an email to the user an appointment is booked with when it is made.

Sliding "Notify additional users" to the right will allow you to choose additional users to receive the same email notification when an appointment is made. If you switch this on, you'll then need to go to "users" from the menu at the top of the screen to enable the email regarding any online booking for your additional users.

If you'd like to enable the email notifications for additional users, click on "users" from the menu at the top of the screen and select the user you would like to receive the email.

Under "Booking notifications", slide the switch to the right then click on "save & publish":



This will then send the email notification of any online booking made to the user.

Depending on your settings, the selected user(s) will then receive an email notification of online bookings made:



Duplicate notifications won’t be sent to a user if they receive a booking and are also set to receive notification of all appointments, we’ll only send the message once.
