How do I set up Users in Online Booking 2.0
If you would like to make a user in your WriteUpp site available in Online Booking 2.0, then that’s easy to manage:
Not made the switch from classic Online Booking to the new and improved version? The process is simple -> Switching from Classic Online Booking to Online Booking 2.0.
In WriteUpp, go to the Main Menu -> Settings -> Users and click on the 3 dot menu at the end of the row of the user you would like to make available in Online Booking:

Select Edit Profile from the menu:

Important: Only Site Administrators have access to User profiles. If you do not have this user role, please speak to the Site Administrator about setting you up in Online Booking.
You will see an ‘Available for Online Booking’ switch towards the bottom of the screen. Toggle it to the right to turn it on:

If you don’t see this switch, add Online Booking to your subscription to get started today!
Once the switch is on, new fields will appear for Online Booking:

Enter a 'Display Name'. This is the only mandatory field and must be completed so the client knows who they are booking with!
Complete the 'Display Title' and 'Display Description' fields - these are optional.
Upload a profile image for the user, if you would like.
There are also switches for ‘Notify of own online bookings’ and ‘Notify of online booking made with any user’. You can find these above the 'Available for online booking' switch. Set your preferences (the user does not need to be available in Online Booking to use these switches).
Press Save
Head to your Online Booking website and check that you are happy with the User’s profile there. If you only have one user set up in Online Booking, you will have to click the ‘More info’ link in the Appointment Summary to see the user’s profile:

If you still do not see the user listed as an option in the Online Booking website, then check your Appointment Types. Is the user selected as a resource? You can read about setting up Appointment Types for Online Booking here.
If you have multiple locations enabled, then you will also need to set up a timetable for the user. You can read about setting up multiple locations in Online Booking here, and how to timetable availability here.
If you do not use multiple locations, you can read about adding location details to Online Booking for your practice, here.
