Limiting how far in advance a client can book online

When accepting bookings from your clients, you have the option to limit how far in advance a client can book online.

You'll find a setting in the online booking admin area under Settings called Limit for Bookings:

Using the dropdown, you'll be able to set the following limit to online bookings:

Unlimited
1 month
2 months
3 months
4 months
5 months
6 months
12 months

The Unlimited option won't restrict online bookings from being made at any point in the future, provided availability is there. This is the default setting for online bookings.

The other options will allow you to prevent bookings from being made any further in advance. For example, if you set this to 3 months, your clients won’t be offered any appointments which are more than 3 months in the future from the date on which they are searching.

The limit will operate on calendar months. For example, if today is the 25th of the month and the limit for bookings is set at 1 month, clients will be offered appointments up to and including the 24th of the following month. Regardless of your availability, they will not see appointments on or after the 25th of the following month.

If clients are searching for an appointment and hit your limit for bookings, they will see a message on screen advising that no more results are available before the limit date:

If your clients report seeing this message without the option to load more results, it means a limit for bookings has been set.
