My appointment prices in online booking are different, what do I need to change?

If the appointment prices shown in Online Booking differ from those set under Settings -> Scheduling, it’s likely because a VAT rate has been applied in WriteUpp, which is being reflected in Online Booking.


It's a simple fix. If you don't charge VAT, you just need to change the VAT rate to 0% within Settings -> Invoice


To do this:


  1. Go to Main Menu -> Settings and chose the Invoice tab:



  1. Click on Edit under VAT rates: 



  1. Click on 0%, which is one of the pre-defined VAT rates included in WriteUpp:



  1. Tick the two checkboxes for Appointments and Expenses:



  1. Then Save:



  1. 0% will now be set as the default tax rate for both appointments and expenses:



And VAT will no longer be added to the cost of your appointments, as they appear in online booking.
