Switching from Classic Online Booking to Online Booking 2.0
If you're currently using Classic Online Booking, this option will remain available to you, for now. You may continue using it, or choose to upgrade to Online Booking 2.0.
Only sites with an active Classic Online Booking subscription will retain access to it. All other sites will have access to the Online Booking 2.0 platform only.
Please note, once you switch to Online Booking 2.0:
You will no longer have access to the Classic Online Booking admin area.
Your classic online booking URL will automatically redirect visitors to the new Online Booking 2.0 website.
IMPORTANT: Classic Online Booking will no longer receive updates or new features. We will continue basic maintenance only, with plans to phase out this version in the future. We strongly recommend switching to Online Booking 2.0 to ensure your clients enjoy the best possible booking experience.
If you had an active classic online booking subscription before switching to Online Booking 2.0, then you can choose to switch back to Classic Online Booking if you decide the new platform isn’t right for you - this flexibility is available for now.
Head to the Main Menu -> Integrations & Add Ons and click the Configure button in the Online Booking section.
Important: You must have the user role of Site Administrator to access the Online Booking configuration screen.
You can use the ‘here’ link on this screen to access the classic online booking admin screen. Or, to switch to Online Booking 2.0, click on the Enable Online Booking 2.0 button:

This will start the configuration of your Online Booking 2.0 site. A modal will appear informing you that your current settings are being retrieved for the new platform:

We’ll automatically carry over user, location and treatment settings from your Classic Online Booking system. Certain configuration settings will also pull through from your classic admin site.
Once the Online Booking 2.0 site has been built, you will see the updated configuration screen.
After switching, we recommend reviewing your Online Booking settings to make sure everything is set up correctly.
Follow the 'select and test' link to view your new Online Booking website!
Take a run through the new booking system as a test client and see what you think! Online Booking 2.0 is a simpler and more user-friendly version of our previous system, making it easier than ever for your clients to book appointments online.
