Does WriteUpp have a referral programme?

Yes. We have a very straightforward and rewarding referral programme. The following article explains how it works.

How does the programme work?

Just complete the form at the bottom of our referral page
We’ll then register you as a referrer and provide you with a unique link (URL) that you should use in all communications where you mention us, such as your website, social media etc
When someone uses your unique link and subscribes for three continuous months, we will pay you the first three months of their subscription fees. For example, the cost of a 10 user WriteUpp subscription is £106.95 + VAT/month, so if your link is used by someone who subscribes for a 10 user site and they continue to pay for 3 months you will receive £106.95 + VAT x 3 = £320.85 + VAT
Within 30 days of the end of each calendar month, if you’re due any referral fees, we will provide you with a summary of your referrals and let you know what referral fees are due.
For tax reasons, we will need you to invoice us for the amount of referral fees that are due. Once we receive your invoice, which should include your bank details, we will make payment within 30 days.

How do I get started?

Just fill in the form at the bottom of this page
One of the team will then provide you with your own unique URL, which you should use wherever you refer to WriteUpp
Be sure to check out the WriteUpp Brand Toolkit, where you will find approved descriptive copy, colour palettes, fonts and logos.
When referral fees are due, we’ll be in touch to let you know how much you’ve earned
You’ll then need to raise an invoice for the amount due and we’ll make payment within 30 days of receiving your invoice.

FAQ’s

Are there any brand guidelines that I should use when describing WriteUpp?
Yes. We are very protective of our brand and it should only be promoted using the guidance in our WriteUpp Brand Toolkit.
Our Brand Toolkit includes: approved logos, descriptive copy (short/medium/long versions), links to reference content, approved fonts and details of the WriteUpp Colour Palette.

What happens if someone uses my code and stops paying for WriteUpp after 2 months?
You won’t receive a referral fee. The referral needs to subscribe to a paid plan and continue paying (without interruption) for 3 months.

What happens if two people refer a subscriber?
We don’t expect this to happen often but if two people refer the same clinic/practice then the one who referred them first will get the credit. In practical terms, this means you will get “credit” for a referral as soon as they sign up for a free 30-day trial. To be clear, this does not mean that you will get paid a referral fee; it simply means that you are “attributed” to the referral and no one else can get credit for it if/when they go on to subscribe.

When will I be paid my referral fees?
Within 30 days of receipt of your invoice for the fee amount.

How do you pay my referral fees?
Fees are paid via bank transfer or PayPal.

Can I check my balance and referrals?
I'm afraid not. If you have a positive balance (i.e. fees are due), we will contact you and let you know the status of your account via chat/email. If you have any questions contact us on live chat and one of the team will be delighted to help.

Do I receive referral fees if someone takes a free 30-day trial?
No. You only receive referral fees if one of your referrals (i.e. one attributed to you) subscribes to a paid plan continuously for 3 months.

What happens if the referred subscriber changes their plan during the first three months?
Your fees will exactly match whatever they pay us. So if they start on a single user plan for the first month (paying us £14.95 + VAT) and then upgrade to a 3 user plan in the second and third months you will receive fees totalling £88.95 + VAT (£14.95 + £36.95 + £36.95, plus VAT)

What currency are fees paid in?
Referral fees are paid in GBP. If you are outside the UK, this means that your fees may increase or decrease in line with the prevailing exchange rate.

Do I get any financial benefit after the first three months?
No
