How do I invoice another therapist (for example) for room rental?
If you need to create an invoice for another therapist, then you can do this in WriteUpp using the invoicing feature. It's really easy to do!
Firstly, you will need to:
Go to Create -> Client and set up the therapist as a patient/client in WriteUpp. If you record an email address for them, then you will be able to email the invoice afterwards.
Once you have set them up, make sure they are the Active Client
Then you have one of two options:
Set up an Appointment Type called "Room Booking - 1 Hour" (or similar)
Enter the booking in your diary, specifying Room Booking - 1 Hour as the Appointment Type
Click on Create -> Invoice and make sure the room booking appointment is ticked:
Generate the invoice
Email the invoice to the therapist
Click on Create -> Invoice and unlike Option 1, you will not see any non-invoiced appointments. All you will see is the Add New Expense button:
Click on the Add New Expense button and you will be able to add the details of the booking as an expense. This option might be preferable if you charge on an hourly basis:
Pressing Save Expense will take you back to the 'Create Invoice' screen. The new expense will automatically be ticked for you.
When you have finished adding items, click Generate Invoice. As before, once the invoice is complete, you can email it to the therapist.
