How to convert a notification to a task and re-assign it
When you receive a notification about an event in WriteUpp, it might be something that you want to follow up on.
To enable you to do that, you have the option to convert any of your notifications into a task. You can then re-assign any follow up work to one of your colleagues by allocating the resulting task to that person.
To convert a notification into a task and re-assign it:
Open your notifications and find the one you would like to convert to a task/assign to someone else.
Click on the Create Task icon within the notification:
The New Task page will open, with the Task populated with the notification text.
Select who you would like to action the task from the Who? dropdown, add a date and any additional comments, then click Save:
The new task will then appear in the Active Tasks tab of the Tasks page for that user.
