How to resubscribe to WriteUpp
If you have unsubscribed from WriteUpp and later changed your mind, or we have failed to receive payment meaning your site has been unsubscribed, then it is possible for you to resubscribe from the Account tab, as along as your site has not been deleted.
You must have the user role of Site Administrator to resubscribe your site.
Resubscribing couldn't be easier, here's how:
To access the Account tab, go to Settings -> Account or select Account Details under the main menu. If your site has been unsubscribed, the Account status will be "Subscription - Cancelled":
Check the expiry date below this. Once the expiry date is reached, you will no longer have full access to your site and the only screen you will see is the Account tab to resubscribe. 45 days after the expiry date, your account will be deleted and you will no longer have the option to resubscribe.
If your account has been deleted, there is nothing that can be done to retrieve your data and you will have to take out a new subscription. Please contact support before unsubscribing if you have any questions regarding this process.
If you wish to resubscribe, simply click the Resubscribe button at the bottom of the Account tab:
You will be taken to the ‘Restore Subscription’ screen. Select the number of users you require and whether the Online Booking add-on is needed, and then click the Subscribe by Direct Debit button if you are in the UK, or PayPal for the rest of the world:
Complete the steps to set up payment
If this is successful, your site will be resubscribed with all your data retained. Check the Account status, it should say "Subscription" and you should see payment details below:
If your site is less than a year old and you are on the old pricing when you unsubscribe, and you wish to resubscribe, then we will honour the old pricing matrix. You will not go onto the new pricing until a year from the original subscription date.
