Does WriteUpp support group/class bookings?
WriteUpp doesn't explicitly support group bookings, where you add clients/patients to a single, specific appointment. However, you can book multiple clients into the same slot in your diary, allowing you to schedule a 'group' booking in this way.
The following article explains how:
Book client #1 into the diary as you normally would do. The appointment will appear in the diary like this:
To book in another appointment with a different patient (patient #2) alongside the 11am appointment (for this example), make patient #2 the Active Patient and then click somewhere beneath the 11am appointment where there is a free space, say at 12pm.
When the appointment panel appears, change the time to reflect the start/end time of the first appointment. Use the dropdowns or type directly into the From and To fields to do this. When you are happy with all the details, press Save:
The new appointment will then appear alongside the first appointment:
There is no limit on the number of appointments that you can add in this way, but readability will become an issue if you add a lot of appointments in the same time slot
If you add a large number of clients into a single slot, we recommend switching from the Week view of the diary to the Day view, to make it easier to see all of the appointments in the booking. You can do this by clicking on the Day option at the top of the diary:
