How do I email a Note?

You can email new and existing notes directly to recipients from within WriteUpp. To do this...

Go to the note you wish to email and select the Email icon at the bottom of the screen:

This will take you to the Email Note screen where you can specify the recipients (To, Cc and Bcc). The note will already be added as an attachment:

When you click on the To, Cc and Bcc fields, you will be shown an Address Book (which you can also access via the Book icon to the right of the fields). This will show you any individuals (with email addresses) that are associated with the client, including:

The Client
Next of Kin
Third-Parties (Insurance, School etc)
Your Colleagues

The screenshot below shows how this looks:

Tick the people that you want to receive the email, and then type your message and subject. Click Send when you are happy.

If you are a WriteUpp subscriber and you need to add another recipient, you can manually enter their details in the field at the bottom of the contacts list. Please note that you do not have the ability to type an email address whilst on trial.

Any messages you send in this way will be added to the Messages tab of the Patient Summary. Please be aware that replies to emails sent from within WriteUpp will not be added to the Patient Summary.
