How to create and edit email templates for consent forms

To save you time in WriteUpp, it is possible to create email templates for all file types that you send out from WriteUpp, including consent forms! This way, you don't have to type out an email each time you send a consent form; you can just select a template and you're good to go!

Select a patient who has an email address recorded on the Patient Summary (it is important to do this because an email address must be recorded to be able to send consent via email)

Go to Create -> Consent:

Select the consent form that you wish to send

Click on the Consent via Email button:

If you do not see the 'Consent via Email' button, it means you have selected a patient who does not have an email address recorded. Add an email address for them or select a patient who does have one and this button will appear!

On the ‘Email Consent Form' screen, click the Manage Email Templates For Consent link:

This will take you to the ‘Email Consent Templates’ screen. Click the +Add Template button

Enter a Name and Subject for your email template. In the main body, enter the email text and use the toolbar to format your message. If you wish, you can use the ‘Manage Attachments’ button to add files from File Storage to your template.

When you are happy, click Save Template

You will be taken back to the ‘Email Consent Templates’ screen where you will see your new template listed!

Now, when you select a consent form to send via email, you can use the ‘Select Template’ dropdown to use the new template:

Any email templates you create here will only be available when sending consent forms. You can create a separate set of email templates for each file type you send from WriteUpp, including for Notes, Invoices, Assessments, documents and attachments. This way, you can send out files in mere seconds!

If you wish to edit any of the existing templates, follow steps 1-5 above , and then click the Edit link of the email template you wish to change:
