Can I check if a patient was sent an appointment confirmation/reminder?

There are a few places where you can check which communications have been sent out to a patient.

The Messages tab of the Patient Summary:


You can check if a patient was sent an appointment communication via the Messages tab of the Patient Summary. All messages sent to a patient will appear here with the most recent listed at the top. For appointment reminders and confirmations, the Type will be 'Appointment Email' or 'Appointment Text', depending on the delviery method:



Clicking on the date will open details of the message and allow you to check the content of the communication.

You can also see information on which communications have been sent for a specific appointment by going to the Appointments tab of the Patient Summary.

Selecting an appointment will open the Appointment Details, and under Appointment History, you will be able to see what communications have been queued/sent:



You will also be able to see if any communications have failed to send, or if a patient didn't receive a communication because they had not been opted in:



When viewing an appointment in the diary, clicking on the Eye icon will take you to the Appointment Details screen to view the Appointment History:
