Can I check to see if a Direct Message has been read?
You can check if a direct message has been read by going into the Messages tab of the Patient Summary and opening the message that was sent.
- Click on the date the message was sent to open it
- The message sent, including any documents sent, will open
- There will be a status indicator next to Message Summary to indicate whether the message is "Read", "Not Read" or "Expired":
- Click View Header at the bottom of the screen to see more information on the sent message, including when it was opened:
