Getting Started with Online Booking
What is Online Booking?
Online booking allows your clients to book directly into your diary 24*7. The benefits to you are:
you don't have to spend time on the phone taking bookings
its significantly easier for your clients to make bookings and in most cases results in an increase in fee income.
In all but a few situations Online Booking makes sense from your perspective and in most situations it will be exactly what your clients want.
Before you get started with Online Booking, there are just a few commercial things to bear in mind:
If you are trialling WriteUpp you have free access to Online Booking during the trial period. Thereafter, it can be licenced as an add-on. More details about pricing can be found here
If you are already a subscriber and you subscribed before 8th March 2016 you are entitled to use Online Booking for FREE if you are not using it already. Please contact us so we can enable this on your account!

Once you have turned on Online Booking you will see that we have pulled through key information from WriteUpp about:
Treatments/Appointment Types
Clinicians
Locations (if multiple locations are in use)
Decide which layout options you would like to present in Online Booking - this article explains more -> "How do I modify the layout of Online Booking?". Once you have decided on your layout you can then enhance the information in the various layout options that you have selected.
Enhance the Treatment information that has been pulled through from WriteUpp by adding things like a client-friendly description and images of your treatments - this article explains more -> "How do I enter information about my treatments?"
Enhance the Clinician/User information that has been pulled through from WriteUpp by adding things like a bios, contact details and a profile picture - this article explains more -> "How do I enter information about me or my team?"
ONLY IF YOU HAVE MULTIPLE LOCATIONS - Enhance the Location information that has been pulled through from WriteUpp by adding things like directions, a link to the directions page on your website and a Google Map - this article explains more -> "How do I enter information about my locations?"
Add some promotions boxes to your site to present information like new treatments, a new team member, new equipment or a new location - this article explains more -> "How do I add promotions to my Online Booking homepage?"
Choose a theme for your Online Booking site - this article explains more -> "Can I change the look of my online booking page to fit with my brand?"
Decide how far in the future you want to take online bookings - this article explains more -> "How do I specify a offset period for Online Booking?"
Once you have got Online Booking set up to your liking you need to give you clients access to Online Booking - this article explains more -> How do my clients access Online Booking?

How do I find the URL for my Online Booking website?
If, at any point, you wish to see what your online booking website looks like to the client, simply click the 'view the website' link under Quick Links in the Online Booking admin area. If you need to copy the URL for the website, you can then simply copy it from the search bar.
Your online booking URL takes the first half of your WriteUpp URL, but replaces ".writeupp.com" with ".selectandbook.com". For example, if your WriteUpp URL is: "http://yourdomain.writeupp.com", your online booking URL will be "http://yourdomain.selectandbook.com".
This is the URL that you should provide to your patients through a link on your website, in social media profiles or in any email correspondence.
