How do I provide a client with a copy of a completed consent form?
Once a client has completed a consent form and it's been saved to the Privacy tab of the client summary, you can quickly and easily send a copy of the completed consent back to them for their records.
To do this:
Navigate to the Privacy tab of the client summary
Click on the line containing the consent form you'd like to send out
Click on the email icon at the bottom of the page:
The completed form will be generated as a PDF file, including details of who provided consent and when, and attached to an email
Complete the recipient, the subject and the body of your email, before clicking on Email Consent
You've also got the option to set up and use email templates for completed consent forms
The sent email will also be added to the Messages tab of the client summary with the type Completed consent, where you'll be able to see the delivery status if using the WriteUpp email server:
You can also print a copy of the consent form from here, if the patient would like a hard copy. Just click on the printer icon to the left of the email envelope. Again the printed version will contain the details of who provided consent and when.
