Stripe Fees - Standard accounts


Applies to Stripe connections made before 12th November 2024This article contains information on the fees to take payments via WriteUpp using a Standard Stripe account. Accounts connected to WriteUpp before 12th November 2024 that haven't migrated to Stripe Unified will be charged as per the below.


If you connected Stripe to WriteUpp on or after 12th November 2024, or you have already migrated to Stripe Unified, you can see the fees you can expect to be charged here.


To take payment via Stripe Standard accounts in WriteUpp, you will be charged your local Stripe fee + 0.5%. So, for example, if your local Stripe fees are 1.5% + 20p/transaction you will be charged 2% + 20p/transaction.
