Why do I need text credits?
There is no requirement to purchase text credits. However, if you wish to use features in WriteUpp that utilise SMS technology, you will need to buy these.
The features which use text credits are:
Appointment communication (confirmations, reminders etc)
Text verification in Online Booking - extra security to allow you to verify the identity of clients booking online (optional)
Messages to clients
Messages to colleagues
Direct Messaging
Smart Forms
Two Factor Authentication - Required for setup and as a backup method of authentication
One SMS Credit is generally equivalent to one text, however this does depend on the amount of text in the message. One credit equates to approx 160 characters, with credits purchased in bundles.
