Why do I need text credits?

There’s no requirement to purchase SMS credits, unless you want to use features in WriteUpp that rely on SMS technology.

The following features use SMS credits:

• Appointment communications (e.g. confirmations, reminders)
• Text verification in Online Booking (optional security feature)
• Messages to clients
• Messages to colleagues
• Direct Messaging
• Smart Forms
• Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) - required during setup and as a backup login method

How SMS Credits Work

• 1 SMS credit = approx. 160 characters
  Longer messages may use more than one credit.

• Credits are sold in bundles
  You can purchase as many as needed based on your usage.

If you plan to use any of the above features, you’ll need SMS credits to enable them.
