How do I send a patient a confirmation of an appointment but not a reminder?
If a patient wishes to receive confirmation of an appointment, but no other communications relating to the appointment after that, then this is possible to do when booking the appointment.
To send a confirmation of an appointment but prevent a reminder from being sent:
- Click on a free space in the diary to book the appointment. Doing so will bring up the appointment modal.
- Select Edit Details in the 'Communications' section:
- Toggle the 'Only send confirmations' switch to the right and click Update:
- Finish filling out the details of the appointment and click Save
