New Variables and Bug fixes (v2.17.12)
Read all about some of the latest updates to WriteUpp below⬇️
When creating and editing message templates for email and SMS appointment communications, it is now possible to add variables for Old appointment date and Old appointment time.
If the date and time of an appointment are changed, then the 'Old appt date' variable will capture the previous date of the appointment, and 'Old appt time' will capture the previous time of it.
These variables can be used in your 'General change' trigger templates, to specify which appointment has been changed. This may be particularly helpful in cases where the client has multiple appointments booked in.
The screenshot below shows how this could look in your 'Changed appointment' SMS template:

The payment modal when taking payment using the Stripe reader was showing the currency as GBP regardless of the currency setting in the WriteUpp site. This has been fixed. Please ensure that the currency set in your Stripe account is the same as within WriteUpp. A mismatch in currencies will cause payments to fail.
HTML line break elements in address variables are now being stripped from SMS templates for appointment communications.
If you are using client validation in Online Booking with messages sent via Twilio, then verification SMS failures will now trigger an error message.
